The Pickford Film Center
At 1318 Bay Street, The Pickford Film Center will be a two screen, 250-seat facility that will include a large lobby, concessions and café area as well as gallery and meeting spaces.
“People want more of what we have to offer,” says Alice Clark, WFA Executive Director. “Our new theatre will help us continue to bring the highest quality film programming and special events to the community and provide a comfortable, exciting venue that will benefit our city for years to come.”
About the WFA
Founded in 1998 by a group of cinephiles who organized to keep independent cinema alive downtown, The Pickford Cinema has become a Bellingham landmark dedicated to providing a forum and resource for independent cinema, community, education, and the celebration of film.
Whatcom Film Association (WFA) runs The Pickford Cinema, NW Projections Film Festival, The Traveling Pickford Show, True/False West Film Festival and a host of other film-related festivals, programs and events throughout the year.
